DAEGU, SOUTH KOREA - AUG 27: Athletes race for the finish during Heat 1/4 of the 400 Meters Men - Decathlon at the IAAF World Championships Daegu 2011 at Daegu Stadium, Daegu, South Korea. Ashton Eaton [USA/46.99] takes the lead in Heat 1/4; Eelco Sintnicolaas [NED/48.35 (SB)] in Heat 2/4; Jan Felix Knobel [GER/49.46] in Heat 3/4; Pascal Behrenbruch [GER/49.90] in Heat 4/4. Michael Johnson [USA} has held the world record since 1999. For nine days, the world’s finest athletes converge at the IAAF World Championship Daegu 2011 to break and set world records and personal bests.
