Kim Collins [SKN/10.13] took first in Heat 1/7; Walter Dix [USA/10.25] in Heat 2/7; CHristophe Lemaitre [FRA/10.14] in Heat 3/7; Yohan Blake [JAM/10.12] in Heat 4/7; Nesta Carter [JAM/10.26] in Heat 5/7; Usain Bolt [JAM/10.10] in Heat 6/7; Michael Frater [JAM/10.26] in Heat 7/7. Since 2009, the winner of Heat 6, Usain Bolt, has held the world record of 9.58 for this category. For nine days, the world’s finest athletes converge at the IAAF World Championship Daegu 2011 to break and set world records and personal bests.
