Ashton Eaton [USA/10.46] led the tables for Heat 1/4; Eelco Sintnicolaas [NED/10.76 (SB) ] for Heat 2/4; Brent Newdick [NZL/11:00] for Heat 3/4; Larbi Bouraada [ALG/10.88 (SB)] for Heat 4/4. For nine days, the world’s finest athletes converge at the IAAF World Championship Daegu 2011 to break and set world records and personal bests.
